Each year millions of Americans go to work to build our homes, roads, schools, and hospitals to provide food for our families. To provide care for the sick and injured. To create goods and provide services for people around the world.
Their hard work and diligence improve the quality of our lives, families, and communities. It is a tragedy when a mother, father, sister, brother, or child goes to work and does not return home and a family’s loss is immeasurable. It not only hurts the family but the whole community. No one is ever the same. The grief of loss disrupts the lives of those who matter most.
Unfortunately, Americans are losing their lives each year on the job while others suffer from life-changing injuries and severe illnesses. As a company, family, and good neighbor, we dedicate each day to improving our efforts and behaviors to ensure that all workers go home safe and healthy.
Safety is at the core of what makes us successful by protecting the world’s most important asset - the people. We ask that all people keep the safety of themselves and their fellow neighbors at the forefront of every thought and discussion before making a final decision. We pledge to make safety the topic of every conversation and action. We pledge to provide the resources and technology to keep workers alive and thriving in the workplace. Safety is more than business. It's 100% personal. We know what it's like to lose a life for a dollar.
